Who may inquire
- An individual seeking support from a trusted relative
- A parent, adult child, sibling, spouse, guardian, or other family caregiver
- A case manager or care coordinator helping a family explore options
What Besqueens reviews
- The individual’s program, eligibility, assessment, and service authorization
- Whether the relationship is permitted under the applicable program rules
- The caregiver’s screening, work eligibility, training, availability, and role requirements
- Whether Besqueens can safely support the care plan and requested schedule
What family caregivers should expect
Potential caregivers may need to complete an application, interview, background and registry checks, orientation, training, employment documentation, and care-plan-specific preparation before working. Qualification and pay are not automatic and depend on program and employment requirements.
A family-first approach
We value the knowledge families bring while protecting the participant’s rights, choice, privacy, safety, and independence. The participant remains at the center of planning and decision-making.
